Who We Are
Bellewood Home for Children provides care services to abused, neglected and homeless youth and families across Kentucky. Since 1849, our variety of pro-active treatment programs stress education and respectful relationships, teaching clients to lead healthy, independent lives and become contributing members of their communities.

Our Vision
Create a culture in Kentucky where formerly abandoned, abused or neglected youth are connected to caring adults and families and stay connected in supportive relationships, developing life skills that help them achieve self-sufficiency.
Our Reach
With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, Bellewood has administrations in Bowling Green, Lexington, Owensboro and Paducah, offering service to youth and families statewide. Operations are maintained through state and federal funding as well as private donations.
