Vice President of Finance and Administration

Brad Williamson

Brad provides leadership, direction and oversight to all of Bellewood’s financial, compliance and risk-management functions.  A graduate of the University of Kentucky, Brad is also a Certified Public Accountant and began working for Bellewood in February 2011. His vast experience in the accounting profession for various firms including Arthur Young and Company, BAT Industries and Brown-Forman Corporation is a valuable asset to Bellewood’s financial planning and sustainability.

Director of Louisville Residential Operations

Julie Greenwell

Julie oversees the four residential programs and school on Bellewood’s Louisville campus. She came to Bellewood in 1993 and has more than 17 years of experience in providing residential treatment services to adolescents. Additionally, she has 11 years of experience in the provision of clinical services that include a focus on addressing issues related to past trauma, poor attachment, developmental delays, substance abuse and emotional/behavioral instability.In addition to being a Licensed Psychological Associate, Julie has a M.A. in Clinical Psychology from Spalding University and B.A. in Psychology from University of Louisville.

Director of Human Resources

Ruth Dunbar

Ruth brought more than 16 years’ experience with her when she came to Bellewood in June 2007 as Human Resources Coordinator.  In her current position, she is accountable for all human resource functions throughout each of Bellewood’s sites.  Her responsibilities include recruitment and retention of employees, maintaining positive employee relations and managing the agency’s benefits and management practices.As an essential entity of the organization, Ruth also ensures Bellewood complies with local, state and federal laws relating to human resource practices.

Director of Community Based Services

Kristy Watt

Kristy oversees the therapeutic foster care, independent living and intensive in-home programs for Bellewood. She has been instrumental in expanding services in South Central and Western Kentucky since she came to Bellewood in 2007. Her experience includes providing outpatient therapy to both adults and children, school-based therapy, residential treatment and therapeutic foster care.Kristy received both her M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy and her B.A. in Criminology and Sociology from Western Kentucky University. Additionally, she is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Director of Compliance and Quality Improvement

Theresa Higgins

Theresa’s extensive history at Bellewood began in 1985 when she was assigned as a direct childcare employee. In 2002, Theresa was appointed her current position where she reviews programming and treatment reports to ensure compliance with regulations. Additionally, she compiles client data for monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
