Foster Parents
Bellewood’s innovative Therapeutic Foster Care program strives to secure the best match between a foster parent and a child. There is always an intense need for foster parents, and we gladly welcome individuals who want to offer our children a safe home and a better life.
The ideal foster parent is someone who has a desire to work with youth who have been abused and/or neglected. This candidate must be a intensely caring individual who can communicate effectively, work in partnership with others and be able to effectively manage children. Parents must be at least 21 years old, submit to criminal background checks and complete 46 hours of training.
