Foster Parents

Bellewood’s innovative foster care program strives to locate and secure the best match between a foster parent and a child. There is always an intense need for foster parents, and we gladly welcome individuals who want to offer our children a safe home and a better life.

The ideal foster parent is someone who has a desire to work with children who have been abused and/or neglected. This candidate must be able to communicate effectively, work in partnership with others and be able to effectively manage children. Parents must be at least 21 years old, submit to criminal background checks and complete 46 hours of training.

Benefits of this position include: Up to $1,600 tax-free compensation monthly, 24/7 support, liability insurance, free specialized training and CPR/First Aid Training.
