Bellewood hosts two major special events to raise funds and create awareness about abuse, neglect and homelessness among young people in Kentucky.

Bellewood's philosophy is simple: treat the cause of the problem instead of focusing on the problems caused. As such, Bellewood believes it can be a leader in educating communities and families on the importance of reconnecting and rebuilding family relationships.

The special events- the Youth Film Festival and 5k Run in Bowling Green - gives Bellewood that platform.
