Independent Living
Our Independent Living program provides education and life skills training to young adults ages 18-25 who are either homeless or in the State’s care system. With this service, participants are provided with a safe home free-of-charge as we help them obtain employment, enroll in secondary or vocational school and provide instruction on basic, essential adult life skills.
This program is an essential part of ensuring a continuum of care to our youth in order to guarantee they become successful, contributing members of a society. Ultimately, the goal for every client is to reach permanent self-sufficiency with the knowledge and skills to live as an independent adult.
Service locations: Bowling Green, Lexington, Louisville, Owensboro and Paducah
