Residential Treatment

Bellewood’s Residential Treatment Program serves 12-18-year-olds who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse or neglect and are in the care of Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services.

With clients living on-site, this 24-hour, seven-day-a-week program provides intense treatment through therapeutic care, educational and vocational programs as well as independent living skills training.

The youth in this program are victims of extreme abuse and neglect, and many suffer from attachment-related issues.  Additionally, most have been through a number of unsuccessful out-of-home placements, worsening the disruption in their lives.

With our continuous help, these young people benefit greatly from the intense supervision, structure, education and clinical care.  We rebuild their torn apart lives and minds with knowledge, education and confidence.

Service locations: Bowling Green and Louisville
