Residential Treatment

Bellewood’s Residential Living Program serves adolescents 13-18 years old who have been removed from their homes as a result of abuse or neglect and are committed to Kentucky’s Cabinet for Health and Family Services. With clients living on-site, this 24-hour, seven-day-a-week program provides intensive treatment through therapeutic programming, educational and vocational planning as well as independent living skills training.

Many of the youth in this program have been through a number of unsuccessful out-of-home placements and have experienced tremendous family disruption. They are victims of abuse, neglect and attachment-related issues. Clients in this program demonstrate significant emotional and behavioral difficulties and benefit greatly from the intense supervision, structure and treatment provided.

Service locations: Bowling Green and Louisville
