In the past 15 years, youth referred to Bellewood have changed. We are no longer asked to care for just orphans. Today, the young people who come to Bellewood have severe emotional and behavior problems.
Bellewood offers a wide array of services across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Youth, ages 12 to 18, benefit from residential treatment services offered at two campuses in Anchorage and Bowling Green.
Community Based Services helps youth and young homeless families through programs in Bowling Green, Lexington, Louisville, and Paducah.
The Council on Accreditation (COA) of Services for Families and Children accredits all Bellewood programs. We were the first agency in Kentucky to receive COA accreditation in mid 1980.
